Abstract

The article analyzes the significant role of emission lines observed in Herbig Ae/Be stars as indicators of accretion. The reliability of each line as an accretion diagnostic is evaluated, and a comparison is made between the detection of emission lines and the degree of UV excess detection. It is confirmed that several emission lines, which are clearly established as accretion indicators for CTTSs, are also reliable accretion tracers in HAeBe stars. Additionally, based on the relatively low level of detected emission lines, it is determined that [O I] λ6300 Å and He I 5876 Å may be weak indicators and are associated with UV excess.
