The study focuses on preserving standard language norms, promoting linguistic awareness in the media and on social media platforms, critically assessing the excessive use of borrowed words, and improving the terminological system. The development and preservation of the national language are regarded as key responsibilities of contemporary Azerbaijani linguistics and of Azerbaijanis living both in the country and abroad. Families, educational institutions, all citizens, and intellectuals in particular share responsibility for achieving these objectives.
