ESSENCE AND FUNCTIONS OF ACTIVE LEARNING TECHNOLOGY

It is accepted to distinguish general didactic principles common to the teaching of various subjects or units of educational activity. Under special conditions, their manifestation may acquire specific characteristics. Furthermore, in each field of education, principles are developed that are specific to a particular topic and correspond to the tasks of regulating the educational process under specific conditions. Active learning technology used in the educational process is based on a number of principles: individualization; principle of flexibility; principle of efficiency (or principle of choice); contextuality; cooperation.
