Abstract

The article highlights that, in the context of contemporary wars, military conflicts,political tensions, and various types of emergencies occurring globally, ensuring the safety of the population and protecting human life and health rank among the most critical tasks facing states. It should be noted that the importance of civil defense reconnaissance increases significantly during wartime. This is because, during military operations, the situation can change rapidly; settlements and critical infrastructure may sustain damage, and communication and transport systems may be disrupted. Under such conditions, the timely assessment of the actual situation on the ground and the accurate evaluation of threats can play a decisive role in saving lives. For instance, before commencing rescue operations in a damaged area, it is essential to gather information regarding the structural stability of buildings, fire hazards, the potential for gas leaks, the impassability of roads, and the locations of affected individuals. Such information enables the effective organization of rescue efforts, helps prevent further casualties, and ensures the efficient use of available resources and personnel.
